Elise has spent her career in the personal injury jurisdiction, initially as a plaintiff solicitor between 2011 and 2013, before commencing at a WorkSafe Panel Firm in 2013. She acts on behalf of WorkSafe Victoria, its authorised insurers and employers in a range of matters including serious injury applications, common law claims, damages proceedings and statutory benefits claims.
Elise has a broad range of experience in dealing with different types of claims including physical injuries, psychiatric injuries and multi- defendant claims. Dealing with multi-defendant claims, Elise has also had exposure to assessing the implication and enforceability of indemnity clauses, existing in the context of contractual agreements between named defendants to a proceeding.
Elise also acts on behalf of the Transport Accident Commission in respect of a range of disputes and litigated matters concerning loss of earnings benefits, medical treatment and impairment disputes. Elise is known for her proactive and outcome focussed approach to litigation and is quickly earning a strong reputation for being able to deliver positive and timely results for her client.
